Andrea qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and has worked in the areas of general litigation, personal injury litigation, defamation and employment law.
She joined Hussey Fraser in 2011 and managed a high volume of material damage claims arising out of road traffic accidents before moving into the areas of personal injury litigation and employment law.
Andrea is experienced in all aspects of injury litigation, from initial instruction through the Injuries Board process and into court proceedings, where necessary, from District Court to High Court cases, with key emphasis on expert advice and communication.
Andrea also provides advice and representation on a broad spectrum of employment law issues, from negotiation on terms and conditions in the employment contract, to mediation before the Rights Commissioner service and full hearings before the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC), formerly the Employment Appeals Tribunal. She has a wealth of knowledge on equality and gender issues, maternity and parental leave protections, and issues of stress and bullying in the workplace.
